Why we built it
Shared money is where budgeting apps give up
Nearly every money app assumes one person with one wallet. Real life is not like that. Rent is split four ways, somebody else did the shopping, and the ৳500 you lent your brother in March has been quietly forgotten by both of you.
Pooled started as a household ledger that had to reconcile, because the version that did not reconcile caused arguments. Balances are never stored — they are recalculated from the records every time, so the number on your screen can always be traced back to the entries that made it.
It is built by SunnyOrbit, a small independent studio. The same people write the code, answer the email and ship the updates.

Is Pooled free to use?
Yes. Pooled is in early access and every feature is switched on for everybody. There is no price, no trial and nothing to cancel.
Do I need to connect a bank account?
No. Pooled never asks for bank logins. You add entries by hand in a few taps, so setup stays simple and your accounts stay untouched.
How do shared spaces work?
Create a space for a flat, a trip or a family, invite people with a six-character code, and every entry anyone adds updates the balances the whole group can see.
Can I set budgets and track money I lent?
Yes. Set a monthly limit per category, and log money you lent or borrowed with part repayments until the balance reaches zero.
Is my data private?
Without an account nothing leaves your phone, and what is stored there is encrypted. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app contacts no company at all except Google, and only once you make an account.
Can I export to CSV or PDF?
Yes. Export any date range as a CSV for a spreadsheet, or a PDF with category and payment-method breakdowns.
