SunnyOrbit is an independent studio that builds simple mobile apps for everyday life. We design around what helps you, not what keeps you on screen, and we work on one focused app at a time.
Why we exist
Small frictions deserve small tools
Everyday life is full of small frictions. Keeping track of the house kitty, remembering who paid for the groceries, working out what a shared trip actually cost. None of it is difficult on its own, but it adds up, and it usually lands on whoever is willing to keep the list.
Most apps solve these moments by asking for a lot in return. They want your attention, your contacts, your spending history and a subscription before they will show you a total. We think a tool for a two-minute task should not cost you any of that.
So SunnyOrbit builds the other kind of app. It does the job, stays quiet, and respects the person holding the phone.
What we believe
Four ideas decide what goes into a SunnyOrbit app and, more often, what stays out of it.
Privacy by default
We ask for the least data the app needs to work. Nothing is collected to sell, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
Clarity over cleverness
Plain words and clear numbers. If a screen needs a tutorial, then the screen is the problem.
Ship small and listen
We prefer small updates to big launches, and a real person reads what people write to us.
Where we stand today
No growth charts or milestones to show off, just the plain facts about the studio.
